Search the BOSS lets you add a search engine to your website using the Yahoo! open search web services platform. You have to sign up to their developer API access and it's a tried and tested platform which is backed by the know how of Yahoo. So you are guaranteed a reliable service.

Ok so now the downside.

Yahoo will start making people pay for using their API soon and if your site gets busy then it could amount to a fair chunk of change so personally I think there is a better way to add search to your website, i'll keep you posted when I find it.

So why did we give this Dreamweaver extension 2 Stars?

It's ok the major drawback is paying Yahoo for your search on your site.
